During Covid-19 I began working from home more frequently and began experimenting with animated Gifs.
The result was a mind blowing mix of multimedia designs, I began to create just about anything I thought of,
I have since created dozens and dozens of these Gifs.

The Vanguard Group, Inc.is an American registered investment advisor based in
Malvern, Pennsylvania with about $6.2 trillion in global assets under management.
Working on this project for Vanguard was both a rewarding and challenging experience. As someone who deeply respects Vanguard’s brand and visual identity, I felt a strong responsibility to uphold their standards throughout the design process. This was my first time designing a project for Vanguard, so I had to quickly adapt to their detailed brand guidelines. The report itself was extensive—spanning over 50 pages—and included dozens of complex charts and tables. Precision was key, as even small inconsistencies could undermine the credibility and clarity of the report.

Adding to the complexity, this project took place during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges of working remotely, our team remained agile and committed, successfully navigating shifting timelines and communication hurdles to deliver high-quality work. The project required significant back-and-forth, with multiple rounds of revisions driven by client feedback. Fortunately, I was part of an outstanding team that included talented writers, copyeditors, a creative director and a dedicated project manager. Their collaboration and support were instrumental in helping us meet deadlines and deliver a polished final product on time.

As part of this project,I proposed several iterations for the cover design. After exploring both image-driven and photo-driven approaches, we ultimately chose an illustrative style. I envisioned using elements of the American flag—its red, white, and blue color palette—as a symbolic way to represent Vanguard’s diverse customer base. This visual direction aligned seamlessly with the cover headline, How America Invests, reinforcing both the theme and the audience focus. I therefore used Vanguard’s primary colors to tie the concept together and maintain brand consistency.

I designed the full report along with multiple styles of charts and tables by carefully following the Vanguard brand guidelines.
